Improving Employee Wellbeing at Welltok
One of my favorite parts of working for Welltok is the opportunity to use our own software and solutions with our employee population. In 2019, I helped launch this program with a fresh, energized design, making use of new functionality, new content and new engagement channels.
We deployed our Total Wellbeing Solution, with objectives that include recruiting and retaining top talent, managing health care costs, and increasing employee productivity and performance. These business objectives were matched with standard and custom programs across all aspects of wellbeing - physical, mental, social, financial and purpose. After launching this full solution, paired with a comprehensive adoption and engagement strategy, our adoption rate reached 95% — a 10% increase over previous program years. As the lead for Solution Design, I worked with all of our stakeholders across HR, Product, Implementation, and Operations (among others), to collect expert input and program design requirements. I also facilitated employee surveys and focus group sessions to collect feedback on what’s working, what needs improvement, and where there are program gaps. With a phased implementation strategy, we’ve been able to respond to this feedback with both incremental and more significant program updates throughout the year.
