Prototype Anything
I really enjoyed this article by Eric Ries, author of The Lean Start Up. The included illustrations from Jake Knapp's new book are a great reminder of why prototyping is so critical. It can help teams save time, clear up requirements and collect feedback. Sometimes accomplishing all three simultaneously.
Prototype anything. It is a super productive mindset for business leaders, designers, and developers. I'll have to add The Sprint Book to my reading list.
As a non-developer, one of the prototyping tools I've played around with recently is POP. Using pictures of drawn interfaces and defining links between them, you can create a "goldilocks" quality mock up with very little effort.
